Description: Our client is a leading player that provides complete IT business solutions including fully managed services and ongoing support services to organisations within the public and private sector. Our client is currently looking for senior business development professionals for their local government business who are used to putting together and winning large scale outsourcing business. The Strategic Sales Manager will have: The experience to demonstrate a track record of selling complex deals. An established network of clients in the marketplace. A strong understanding of organisational dynamics. Good standard of general education, preferably to degree level or equivalent. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. The ability to work effectively in teams. Acute problem solving/decision making skills. The ability to demonstrate an innovate approach. Interpersonal skills of the highest order. A full driving licence. The Strategic Sales Manager will desirably have: A good understanding and experience of the public sector in general and local government in particular. Practical experience of the use of technology including the Microsoft Office suite of products.
